Flock Browser

Hello Duniya,

Well if anyone remembers I’ve been always been tagging or mentioning the phrase ‘My Favorite Browser’ ‘My favorite Browser’! Well then I guess time has come I discuss it a bit. I take this opportunity to present MY FAVORITE BROWSER the FLOCK!

But why now it’s not a new one!? Yes, and because it’s just been newly upgraded and the new version 2.0 is up for grab! The new page when upgraded automatically for those who already have it says “Tune Up Your FLOCK!” And then it blabbers about how things are cooler than before.

Well frankly I haven’t been able to experience much of a difference; things might be annoying if you’re still using Pentium 4 and a 945 Intel Chipset!!! But yeah I like it as it looks stunning and terrifically standard and professional.

Flock allows you to store search engines from any site you want to. Well then the experts have it that I.E. too has it; shush what I dun want to tangle myself in those XML stuff. So bottom-line is, it’s better. Great looking orange icons allow you to browse media present on any site you’re browsing currently, the search engine adding stuff (which I told you earlier) and the ever so ubiquitous nowadays RSS feeds; and all in a separate bar or dialogue box without interrupting your normal browsing.

Oh ! And I was almost forgetting the amazing feature that flock has now. It can open automatically your mails, social networks and video and image sites at a click!!!!

Now some geek talks! Flock is a web browser built on Mozilla’s Firefox codebase that specializes in providing social networking and Web 2.0 facilities built into its user interface. Flock v2 was released on October 14, 2008. Developed by Flock, Inc. the latest  stable release is 2.0.3 (24 December 2008), has been Written in C++, XUL, XBL, and JavaScript; runs on  OS Windows, Mac OS X and Linux; Available in Catalan, English (US), Finnish, French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian, Slovak and Spanish (Latin American and Spain). It has a MPL License (Mozilla Public License) and more geeky guys can visit Website http://flock.com (was a LOL joke the site is cool too!).

Flock rocks (not for faint computers)!!

KUDOS!
